Thanks

For redundancy I'd like to double belt both the alternator and water pump.
I have a double v-belt alternator pulley but the original e shaft and water pump pulleys are for serpentine belts. Any one have a source for dual belt pulleys, likely to fit the 20B without serious modifications?

Madatrix has an e shaft pulley, but I'm not certain it will fit. So far it looks like the dual belt water pump pulley is going to be the most difficult to locate.

Any ideas much appreciated.

I run mazdatrix/racing beat dual vbelt eshaft pulley on my 13BT (FC3S) and i check if it fits on 20B.
If yes, then any FC3S duall pulley will work.

I compared pulleys and it looks same to me, ie FC useable on 20B

Anyone could confirm if we can use front (front cover) and rear (stationary gear) seal from FC?

I can confirm the front cover can be used personally.

Now for a really dumb question. FC, FD? I keep seeing them and I'm thinking they're abbreviations for different generations but which is which?

13B or 13BT - FC - 1986-1991
13B-REW - FD - 1993-1995 (in US sales years atleast)

I'm getting close to cranking my engine on a test stand. I've searched the forum but so far haven't been able to find any good (post tuning) IGN/Fuel MAPS for a turbo rotary.
I know each install is a little different I'm just looking for a good starting point.

Anyone know of any links to such?

TIA

Haltech gave me this as a base map for my e11v2/20B a few years ago. Halwin is a free download, so you should be able to look at the tables and pull values as you see fit.

Hope it helps.

For whatever reason even after unzipping windows doesn't recognize the file type.
I also went to their web site. I didn't see any rotary MAPS but I did download a couple anyway and had the same problem.

Right, windows won't know what to do with it. You'll have to download Halwin and open the .map file from there.

For 20b torque the front nut to 200ft-lbs. If using for high horsepower I go to 40ft-lbs on the tension bolts. Be sure to not only follow normal torque sequence, but also front bolts and rear bolts in a sequence. Not all rear, then all front.

Did Haltech say or do you know if it's a MAP specifically for rotaries, or is it a generic/piston engine MAP?

Does anyone know where to get primary fuel injector brackets/clips for securing the injectors to the fuel rail?

Anyone know where to get them?
