Pricing out my 20b, a few questions...

OK, Im still pricing this thing out. haha

Motor- 3k
Rebuild to handle power - 5k
Turbo - 2k (47R)
Trans - 5k (Liberty)
Rear end - 2k (Built 9")
Bov- 250
ECU- 1k (E11v2)
Wastegate - 500

An ok start???
I know its gonna cost a lot more.
So, I need to know:
Since this will be a 500whp street tune (10psi), 800hp drag tune car,

What manifold
What fuel setup
What ignition setup

Thats about all I need to know.
Nothing half ***, Ill be will ing to spend the money, Id rather not take any chances and have something break right off the bat, even though I know it will.

Sorry if this seems like a bit of a newb thread, well, it is.
But I;ve been up for 36 hours, and I felt like thinking about spending money.

LOL, excellent!

Besides the issue expressed by gmonsen, I am a bit concerned that you are describing a pretty advanced setup yet you don't know something as simple as how to estimate the fuel requirements. This disturbs me because it seems to mean that you are going to attempt something way outside of your skill set, or that you are attempting to micro-manage the professional who is performing the work. Either way this is very bad and is most likely doomed to a very expensive failure. However, if you are just dreaming, then that's just fine as long as you realize that "nothing half ***" means a $100,000-150,000 car that will have a new race-worthy EMS with CAN and Tefzel wiring as opposed to a used Haltech E11v2.

My 3rotor is wired 100% with Spec55/55A shield cabling. it can get very costly.

I did source 8cond 55A for the OMP. can't tell you how happy i was to find that spool!
Tried to source cabling with the correct cond (per sensor for example) so i wouldn't have a nasty harness.

i think its more `project` for you if you're having to ask those types of questions.
please do a favor, practice on a few 13B's first then find a 3rotor - less chance of ruining it but moreso, when you give up and scrap the whole project you'll have saved a 3rotor from death.

I've done a many 13b's.
I just wanted to know how people were setting up their 20b's.
Id rather have opinions from people who have done it.
Yes, Ill be doing the work myself.
I had no trouble making 500whp out of a 13b. On a very basic garage built setup.
It was a half *** job, but it got the job done.
I am in no way a pro with rotaries. But I know enough.

This thread isnt here to get into the fine details, Its here to get a few opinions on how people are setting things up.

then you should already know what you need out of the intake & exhaust manifold.
you'd be able to match these modular components up without much issue.

since you picked a GT47r, then you'd have a pretty good idea where the car should make peak power, etc etc.. seems like you're lacking more fundamentals than anything else.
