oil:fuel ratio

I've dumped the OMP for my 20B project and want to go with a premix for predictability and dependability. If anyone else with their 20B is doing a premix setup, what ratio of 2 cylcle oil to fuel are you using? 100:1? etc. Also, is there a 2 cycle oil that is better than another. I don't want to use the wrong ratio and foul the plugs or go too dilute and wreck the seals/housings.

I premix my 20b. I keep it about 130:1 = 1oz per Gal for most brands. Right now I'm running Pennzoil Synthetic I got at a bargain at $6.50 vs. $19 gal on a walmart clearance shelf.

BTW: how is your car coming alone?

i have been premixing for quite few years now.
the ratio i use is 2 ounces per 5 gallons.
i started with any 2 stroke oil i could get my hands on and quickly learned that oils are diffrent
i have been using amsoil synth racing 2 stroke and i love that stuff. other stuff used to foul my plugs very easily especailly while cruising.

I'm finally deathly close to being done. Just dropped the fuel pump in yesterday. We're mounting the dual fans for the radiator and mounting the a fan each for the dual oil coolers. After that, we just need to hook up the piping for the IC and radiator, get the AC in, and hook up the computer. I'm hoping for later next week for the first fire up. The cool, crappy weather is making it a little easier to wait a little longer, but I'm still dying to fire this thing up. Thanks for the input on the premix recs.

1 Oz per Gal. works great on my race cars.
Been doing it this way for over 20 years.
W/ a good Synthetics, You can safely reduce the amount for premix.
but no less than 1/2 Oz./Gal.
