I've spent a few hours on the net !
With a big fat zero ,
I can't find the basics =
Spines , Dia , ring gear size , etc, etc ??????
Did Mazda use something from its RV models or cross shared items with Ford ??
Someone must know something of these diff's ?????
Chip in info people.
Thanks in advance
REgards.
Pete.
13B version
4.3 open standard = series-I
4.3 LSD option = series-I
4.3 LSD standard = series-II
20B version
3.9 LSD standard = series-I + II

Still need info , etc !
Thanks Tom,
Much appreciated !
That does help as the types of LSD's the cosmos have.
Still would love to know the rest ( Spines , Dia , ring gear size , cross shared ? )
The diff crown wheel ( ring gear ) size is much bigger than RX-7 S5/6/etc !
Anyone with a workshop / technical diagrams of the rear diff please forward them to my e-mail addy ( oldrx-7@tpg.com.au )
Thanks again.
Regards.

Thanks.
I found this in a autospeed review of the Cosmo, from DMRH website link-
"DMRH stock a range of second-hand spare parts and can access new parts directly from Japan. Some parts - such as the diff centre - are interchangeable with the local Series 6 RX-7 and the brakes share many components to local Mazda models. However, the Cosmo would be much harder to find parts for than many other run-of-the-mill Japanese imports. There's also lots of stuff that might one-day decide to call it quits - from the tilt steering column to the touch screen to the digital dash, it's a very complex machine. Accordingly, potential buyers should be sure to have a Cosmo thoroughly inspected prior to purchase."
So I guess its the same as the good O' FD rear end, 3.909 rear for 20B, 4.30 rear for 13B version.
