Mandeville-built 20b

So I seem to remember a forum member 5+ years ago who had a '94 (IIRC) red FD that had a 20b swap, with the motor built by Roger Mandeville. He made ~638 at the wheels@6200rpm, and had to stop because of a fuel leak. He burnt out that turbo in less than 2k miles, put on a bigger turbo, and had to sell the car because of an impending lawsuit after his father (in law?) was beaten in NM/AZ by some crazy *** churchgoers. He sold the car to someone in Iowa or Missouri for ~40k, and the car fell off the map.

I was wondering if anyone remembers this forum member, and if they know what ever happened to that car. His forum name was RedRX-7, or something along those lines.

-Jim

I have searched for his threads....

I remember him. I bought some 20b related parts from him back in 2003. Can't remember what happened to his car though.

So you know the whereabouts of the car? Anything to report on it?

It was not a Mandeville Motor. Acousta built it. Father got sick and he sold it to pay medical bills.

Ithink his name was david, the car gets serviced by tripoint i think. they put a bigger rad in it a few years ago. it was an acosta motor, dog ring tranny, inconel manifold. there was an article on the car in a rotary only magazine where they covered several 20b's .
