AB limits of the stock turbos?

Hey I just got a 20b and havent even had enough time to figure out what gen it is yet, but I was considering what direction to go with the build.
So my question is if I want to stay twin turbo, what is the limit of the factory turbos?
I want around 14psi is that going to be relaible?

I am asking because I had a spectacular explosion in a ford 2.3turbo when i disconected the waste gate controller, lol , and as much fun as that was I don't want it to happen to my 20b

Ok so I've looked through a bunch of other forums looked online every where, and found some people that say 12psi is max and found some that say 18psi is max but nobody mentions how long
the turbos will last.
Also read some where that the big turbo is the one that spools at low rpms and the smaller one is just there for extra volume at higher rpms? can anyone verify that?

If so I am thinking I might keep the bigger factory turbo and replace the smaller one with something else.
I have been doing a lot of research into this, its just allot of info to cram in a short time and I am not sure if I am getting it straight

the turbos are kind of small, even getting them to do 14psi is going to be tricky.

as for how long they will last, it depends on how many miles are already on em, and how hard you drive and stuff like that, its hard to say.

the 3 rotor engine has a sequential turbo system, so at low RPM all three rotors go to the front turbo, and at higher rpm, a valve opens and the rear rotor spins the rear turbo in addition to the front. like the FD.
