Howard,

Nice thread and GREAT discussion. Dick told me last Fall that he was looking to purchase this car and I told him how jealous I was. My little 2-rotor CYM pales in comparison. Looking at my calendar, I see that it's May 12th, the day you planned to fire your car. Any word yet on how she's running?

I know that Dick loves his new beast. Thanks for all your help in getting his issues straightened out. Keep that old man heading in a straight line 'cause I know how much he HATES to take his foot out of the throttle.

Hope you and Dick can fly out to Irvine, CA on September 11th to join us for Sevenstock 7!

Best of luck to you and Dick and keep 'em on the asphalt!!

Tim

Dick's motor is a pretty straightforward 20b constructed of new housings. it has a mild streetport... probably mainly the exhaust port. he runs LS1 chevy coils i believe. a T66 68 lb/min turbo w a Tial wastegate. a Haltech e11 runs the show w a Techedge wideband. Dick currently adjusts the wastegate spring for boost but will be installing an Apexi AVC R. frontmount IC, Supra fuel pump, Aeromotive adj FPR. 850 & 1600 fuel inj. the car has the air cond and Power steering on it. alum radiator and some super fans.

my car should run friday or sat. ( 13b w two TO4s w all the necessary support) then i will get to Dick's bumpsteer situation and will report back.

Is Haltech having problems with the E11's boost control function?

the WG currently isn't hooked into the Haltech. the e11 is working well. the AVC R will allow Dick to stage the boost in the shorter gears so we plan to use it.

i have mine wired up, but the ecu quit before i got a chance to see if it worked.

the ecu intermittanly crashes, but only on my car. it works fine on 13bs and wrx's there is a new firmware we havent tried yet but at this point i'm not very hopeful.

From talking to the guy who built the car, I believe he did everything himself, his own subframe, etc....
