A couple of months ago, I was talking to Greg and he (I think it was him) had the idea of rebuilding a stock S5 gearbox, but have the internal chryotreated. This is suppose to strengthen the metal some insane percentage, but I have no hard data. If anyone has ever heard of chryotreating a transmission, or knows of any details on the results of chryotreating metal, please post.
