hp numbers???

I'm having a 20b built by rx7 specialties with a street port, new 13b housings, lightened fd rotors, dowel pinned motor, with a t88h with a ceramic coated exhaust side. i was told that by adam at rx7 specialties that the motor is really still within its comfort range at 550whp and is easily achieveable on pump gas. i talked to steve kahn the other day and he told me that the motor would be near it limts on pump fuel at around 480whp could some one explain to me why the hp number estimates are that far apart?

Your turbo is the limitation...not the engine.
