That reminds me, I'll need to get my fuel guage working. A 20B is a thirsty critter. Luckily my speedo cable is long enough to go back 160mm.

Who here has had their 20B the longest? George Samuels? DMRH? Does Lance Warren come here at all?

I've got a fuel cell and the stock tank. I'll rig it up to run both. Fuel cell for racing events to prevent sloshing, and maybe an aftermarket guage that's calibrated to work with it. For long trips, the stock gas tank with its accurate guage will save me tons of headaches. When they're empty, they weigh like 5 LBS, which is nothing. When full, I think I'll have 20 gallons of capacity. Just barely enough for a 20B.

Very. It's certainly been vastly more reliable than the 3rd gen I owned.

I have had to put new brakes on it and a new starter within the last 3000 miles, but those are just normal maintenance issues on things that naturally wear out.

The rear tires don't seem to last very long, even though I don't do any drag racing and don't intentionally spin the wheels a lot.

For the motor, itself, I put in new plugs at about 20,000 miles and switched to Mobil 5w-30 synthetic, since it runs cooler than dino-juice.

Before putting in a torque brace, I suffered a broken motor mount and differential mount. With 478 lb/ft of torque, I guess that's an occupational hazard.

Giving credit where credit is due, Peter Farrell did an excellent job of putting the car together. One of the design criteria that we agreed on is that this car had to be daily-driver reliable. If I didn't have the four kids in college, I would figure on keeping the car for the rest of my life, instead of trying to sell it.

Mine still has 0, but it's getting closer to 1 lol. Oh, and as far as the earlier post about my fuel cell guage probs, they're solved now.
