how hard is it to build 3rotor with no engine building experience by watching videos?

i've seen rotary newbs get lucky, i have also seen them get not so lucky.

considering the cost of 20B core parts, do you feel like buying the ticket?

I did and I would again. DIY all the way!

Nothing beats building your own engine/car.

I highly recommend the Bruce Terrentine rebuild video. His video showed me where I screwed up with my 1st failed rotary 12a rebuild that I attempted back in 95. I mixed matched the side and corner seals not knowing they needed to go back in the original slots and couldn't make enough compression to start the engine (unless I push started it). I mistakenly thought the rotors were perfectly symmetrical with the seal slots when they are not. The side seal to corner seal gap clearance were all out of whack mixing those seals around like I did. Comprehending the Haynes manual was one thing. Seeing him do the work step by step was priceless. I was like "that's what I did wrong". Rebuilt the 91 vet engine after buying his video and it fired right up.
