handling after 20 b

i heard the 20b is about 130lbs heavier then the 13b. also that the motor is usually mounted further forward. mazda has always said that it isnt the weight of the car.. its were you put it.

after your convertions, what was the affect in your oppinion on handling. i want to autox. drag racing isnt my thing.

also, could you give me a brief description on your settup and how much the swap cost you after installation.

im thinking of just a swap and keeping the stock turbos. im more for torque if anything. i want to build a fast "race what you bring car" so i plan on investing in a lot of suspention work too.

ok my conversion is a stock 20b in a basically stock t2.

the wieght went from 2850* to 2860, the ac and ps were removed

due to not having a front bar, turn in is a little wierd, but the rest of the time its fine, or normal.

my swap was about 10k, and soon the only non stock parts are gonna be the intercooler, e11, exhaust, suspension, and the radiator

mike

*i didnt wiegh the car orginally, thats a listed wieght

I have about the same set up as mike (above post)
and i found the handling to be about the same as
before the swap now that i have a sway bar back in the
car, without the bar it handles the way you would
expect for a rx7 without a bar.
