Got Milk? Pt 2
Got Milk? Pt 2
So i've finally got the motivation to finish up my car. I've started by pulling the motor and cleaning the burnt milk stains off the motor, intake, turbo, manifold etc Well i got everything off the motor and pretty much clean and I decided i'd spin the motor with a wrench. When i did the most foul smelling disgusting mix of brown water and curdled mill came spitting out. The smell alone almost made me vomit. Heres a kinda crappy picture of it

As bad as it sounds i just stuck a garden hose in each one of the ports and cleaned each one of them out. I then spun the motor off and on for about an hour to help dry it. I also dumped some atf into it as well. Any other ideas for this whole delema?

From the looks of it your motor needs some pepto-bismol and a *** doughnut.
Flood the motor with WD-40 and it will absorb any leftover water (thats actually what it was made to do) and then coat it with a heavy penetrating oil, i use ZEP-45 it's great ****.

Great idea! Thanks, I never even thought of WD40. I'll also shoot it down with that oil then I'll probably dump some more ATF into it. I'm not even sure how it got in there because i clean most of it up that night. I guess it must have seeped through the intake gasket.
