FD 20B subframes

Newbie question time -- can anyone comment on the SCCA legality of the RX-7 specialties, A-Spec Tunning or Pettitt Racing FD 20B subframes for the SM2 class?

The answer is....

Spoke to streldoc and none are SM2 legal. Only minor notching and bends can be made to the stock subframe.

If thats the case then your best bet may be the Defined Autoworks 20b conversion kit.

i also think the defined kit would be a good call, looks like they did there homework, steering geometry stays the same, alternator is in a tight location being were the ac pump use to be but its not that bad. and they can modify the uim to clear the hood or someone could make a custom intake and TB settup if they wanted to run higher HP numbers
