does anybody know if it is possible to put a 20b engine and a 3rd gen tranny and rear end into an fc3s chassis

 

This FC has a 20B engine and FD transmission, but I'm not sure about the rear end.

I have no idea why anybody would want to deal with the FD transmission, but to each his own.

 

I was thinking of going to the fd trani, i think
the shifter on the fd is farther forward than the fc trani isn't it?
if i am not mistaken the fd shifter is about 3 inches farther
forward which would allow the motor to
be installed 3 inches farther back, which is what i want.
