It depends on how much power you plan to make. I use an Exedy twin disc on my car.

The exedy twin disc should handle that with ease. That's what I'm currently running at a bit over 500RWHP, and it takes everything I can throw at it. I plan on going a bit higher (probably to the 550RWHP range) within the next couple months, although it might get pushed out to next year.

I have the perfect clutch for yo, i have a used ORC 3 disk clutch kit, it comes with lighten flywheel, 3 clutches, pressure plate, and adapter kit. I only used it for around 50 miles went with a trans conversion because of power levels over 1000hp. the clutch kit is good for 800hp no problem so it will last you forever if you are only going to run it at 550-600 its an amazing clutch kit it comes with everything my lost is your gain!. let me know if you are interested and i can send you pics.

^ Pretty sure your clutch will not do him any good. The fact that he is looking at the Max Extreme would mean that he has an FC, not an FD.

JDR- with your HP goal I would go with an Exedy multi disc. It will come with with a balanced flywheel, so you can sell off your Fidanza.

an old thread but still relevant...

while i run a 2 rotor i do have a solution for anyone running a Tremec trans.

Mcloed double disc RST. i run it behind my 2 rotor and my T56. it is spectacular as to feel. makes driving fun again which it was not w my Quartermaster DD.

supposedly it holds 800 ft pounds.

Beyond Redline.com has a couple in stock along w Tremec Magnum-non-Magnum alu adapter.

one of the keys is the custom Mcloed flywheel.

nice setup.

Howard
