the dealer has to call their "help" line and then the help line has to call mazdacomp because they are the only ones with a parts book, then dealer can order the parts then the order gets cancled because its mazda, and if they sold you parts that you wanted they might make some money.

right brad?

if you keep after them they will get stuff, just be prepared to wait

There's a Mazda dealer in San Jose that has a 3-rotor intake plenum sitting in the display case at the service counter....

Join Mazdacomp as part of a racer and you can order parts direct;

why bother with dealerships although you can order direct from them if you like paying a heck of a lot more for the same item. You will need to provide them with a part #, however, don't ask them to look it up... it's too complicated for most of them to handle.

I used to work for a mazda dealer, and just for ***** and giggles I had our parts guy punch in 20B part numbers, and they came up as non existant.

I looked into it further and found that any JDM part number would come up as non existant.

mazdausa has 1 parts database. they only have the parts that they sell, or have sold in it. when people order 20b parts (or any non usa part) they will add it in temporarily. the trick is you dont know what other people ordered.
