well actually i thinking to put it in my rx8 im going to replace my transmission but i dont want to replace it with the same kind, i just want my car to be up to date when i put my 20b engine in the kind of transmission im reffering to is the BMW M6 7-speed SMG sequential transmission. i like the paddel shifter and such and also can use it as an automatic when i want vs of the clutching method. i just wonder if it is going to be able to hold

you might wanna ask someone whos worked with high powered m6s before..
but if you have the resources and money, it would absolutely work..

i had a long reply written up but instead of all that nonsense..

issues:
1: Transsmision Pumps
Do you know if they'll clear the transmission tunnel in the FD?

2: Transmission Electronics
How will you control the transmission?
How will you implement any of the BMW drive-logic?

3: Fitment & Clutch/Flywheel
...yeah

Here is some more info to chew on:
gear ratios: 3.985:1, 2.652:1, 1.806:1, 1.392:1, 1.159:1, 1.000:1, 0.833:1, :1
final drive: 3.62:1
