Battery for 20B FD

What kind of battery are you using? I have my red top located in the rear of the car and need a replacement. What's the best battery for the price out there?

Duralast Gold? Can't be the warranty of just taking it in every year or two no questions asked for a new one...

I just bought a Braile B3121. It's 21 lbs and the pulse cranking amps is ridiculous. It also has over an hr reserve capacity so it wont just run down quickly if you have an amp. If anyone doesn't know what reserve capacity is, it's how long the battery can power the vehicle if you have an alternator failure. Fits nicely in the bins. I highly recommend it. You can also get them cheaper from some place else.

I was gunna go buy a braille but went with a yellow top 51r instead.
The braille costs $230 and the Yellowtop costed me $150, however, the braille fits in the bin with no modifications, I had to heat my bin a little to get the yellowtop to fit, but I have ugly tan bins anyways.

CCA wise, your looking at braille 550 vs optima 450

Bro you gotta shop around a bit. I bought my Braile off ebay from the jegs supplier. $188.00 free shipping.

Cheapest for the braille 3121 on ebay and anywhere else is $217 right now =/

If I could have found it for $188 shipped, I'd definitely go with the braille, but I needed a battery quick

$150 for a brand new optima yellowtop 51r wasn't too bad either so, I just went with that. The cheapest online is $170 shipped.

I always have used a kinetik battery, it is in the same size enclosure as a lawn mower battery and has 450? cranking amps. No problem starting my 2 or 3 rotor.
