anyone using a T51R Kai BB on thier 20B? what size exh a/r are you running? when does it start spooling?

 

HKS offers something other than their standard 1.00 A/R?

I dont know if HKS does, but the local turbo shop here in Okinawa has a T51R Kai BB GT42 hybrid,

HKS:
comp housing
comp wheel Kai 82mm
dual BB Char
shaft

Garrett:
exh wheel 94mm
exh housing 1.06 T4 flang with 3 inch vband

This is what Im looking to use

 

I didn't see the advantage of using a HKS comp side so much, rather than the more compact Vband turbine housing. In any case where can you get the Garrett vband turbine housin? Never seen it anywhere for sale.

the Garrett vband is on the outlet. but T4 flang on it inlet. to help with space using the HKS comp housing is alot smaller size wize, but still uses the same size comp wheel at GT42

I will take some picks of it. Right now Im trying to find some place here to make a manifold. I asked Dragon here but he seams to be tied up in other projects right now. And a lot of the local shops here just plain suck.
