Anyone with N/A 20B??

Just wondering if anyone converted Cosmo 20B to N/A 20B.

I just picked up my 2nd 20B and the idea came about between me and my builder.
Using 2nd gen N/A rotors and go carb'd.

Maybe 350 at the wheels N/A??

Thoughts and ideas??

My 20B will be NA. It's a pre letter series so it made sense. I can get it running for a lot cheaper and the overall engine weight is less. Plus I had no room for the stock twins.

I may do some sort of single turbo later, but I plan to break the rear end before upgrading engine power.

With side ports ?, depends Intake Manifolding & Porting.
W/ OEM Intake, & TB. 270 Maybe at Flywheel. That +/- 230 at wheels.
With Very "Free Breathing" Porting, Individual Throtle bodies, & Dedicated Intake, and "Tuned Exhaust" a best of +/- 330 Hp at the Flywheel., If you get it "ALL right "!

Have a 20b PP. engine in my race car.
Makes over 500 Hp. at Fly Wheel on engine Dyno.
Don't know what it gets to the grownd, but its beat V-8's all day long. 03' Series Class Campion, Florida.
Run's SCCA GT-1. Only Rotary in the country running (none V-8) in National series.

2 pictures of engine. One on Dyno, one on engine stand.

Can provide specs if interested.

Very nice engines you have there! Have you some info at what rpm the 20B makes peak hp and torque? Do you use D-shaped or rectangular inlet ports? At last could you provide some info on the port timing on your 20B? You could PM me if you want. Thanks in advance! /Lars

RE Amemiya has a 20B NA that is streetported sideport and I believe it dynoed 360ps. I will check on that.

It has a short runner individual tripple throttle body intake makes it look just like a P-port from the top or combustion side, but I have a Japanese RX-7 magazine that shows the intake/exhaust side and it is sideport!
