Question Is anyone interested in a Throttle Body Adapter

Well, the subject gets most of the point across, but here's the deal. I am having a machine shop here in town make me an adapter that will mount to the stock 20B Throttle Body that will do away with the hideous cast elbow that won't clear your hood anhow...

Here's the deal... I went in and asked how much, he tells me "Right around $200". I'm like, ok, thats not TOO bad... now, how about if I get 6 of them... "He said it would be right around $150. So, I need 5 peole interested in spending aroun $150 (plus shipping) to get one of these made. I'm not going to make a dime on it. Cost will be the exact cost of the piece plus shipping.

Ok, most of you know that the stock elbow is hideous. Just about everyone that is buildig a 20B FC will be doing a custom FMIC and this would be IDEAL for such a setup. The tubing outlet will be 3" and will work perfectly for a custom FMIC installation.

The best description I can make of this piece is in this picture that I ganked from K2RD:

I've been trying to get ahold of Paul Ko all day, but his line has been busy. I don't think that he is planning on making any more parts for 20Bs after our last conversation... but, Paul, if you are making these, let me know and I'll buy it from you. I'm not trying to steal your design or customers, I just need something VERY similar to what you have.

btw, BOOSTD7 cleared this, so DON"T DELETE IT!!!

Doesn't look like anyone besies us are interested. I'm gonna leave this open for a couple more days, but I can't wait much longer.

j9fd3s: If you are in for 2 of them, that would make it no more than $170 each shipped. If you just need one, it won't save us much money, but he can do it for $175 (I'm counting on $10 shipping in these figures, however, I'll only charge whatever it costs to ship.)

Anyone else in?
