anyone done a 20b fd conversion?
I have a line on a FD that needs a ton of work, I can pick it up for around $1200 from a buddy of mine, it needs engine, tranny, interior work. The body and frame are fine. I figure this would be a perfect project car to try building a 20b conversion, I was wondering if anyone out there has done it that would be willing to give me some info or suggestions? I can get all the parts and I can machine and or weld anything, so let me know, jdio79@hotmail.com I know it will cost alot but its a matter of doing something different and I dont care how long it takes.

Cruise this section/search the forum and you'll find just about everything you need to know. I don't think anyone in the NE has done it on a FD and besides the requirments/discussion of what parts you need has been brung up 1000 times. Also Dave at KDR has done the conversion before I believe using Pettits Subframe. PFS has done it by setting back the firewall, moving the motor back, and then inturn shortening the driveline(PFF, driveshaft, etc) to match.
