Another stock ecu question.
Another stock ecu question.
Ok i have searched over n over and only come up to answers but they were only for the 20b folks.i have a cosmo 13b in my turbo2 and i want to know if it's possible to use the cosmo n390 ecu and wire harness as well as cosmo coils n ignitor in my t2 and get it running i also have the cosmo afm .now my questions are is the n 390 ecu more forgiving then the 20b ecu as in will it work with my 5 speed manual tranny?the harness is in the car as well as the afm and motor.i need to wire up the ignitor and coils, and power to the ecu.does any one have the fsm for the 4th plug on the left hand side of the n390 ecu?if anone is willing to help me i have a FULL jc cosmo fsm at my uncles shop and i would be willing to scan info for others doing 20b work and the like,(it's just that it's in japanese)thanx, Brandon
The 13B & 20B ECU from the JC Cosmo are the same. The exception is the 20B has more internal components installed. The lead out the side on the NF01 ECU is specifically for the extra controls of three rotors.
The N390 ECU will have the same problems as the NF01 ECU when you try to hook up the manual trans.
Have no idea what an FSM is so cant help there. Assume a turbo-II is some American marketing name for the FC RX-7 too. If you manage to find "Gizmo" in NZ, then he knows how to install a "re-boot" into the ECU so you can run it with all the faults active.
Its a complex procedure but can be done.
Dont ask me how to contact Ray Carter @ Gizmo in NZ. I've lost his contact details. Just do some on-line searching
