10's easily, 11's no sweat

assuming they're on single turbo setups...stock twins on those things, 12's are not too hard

Most people that swap aren't just going with a stock engine, so you'll find several different answers.

When i went down to kdr, they had a silver 3 rotor with stock twins running 15 psi and putting 550 rwhp to the ground. Not to shabby, 550 rwhp should put an FD into the 10s with some ET streets, very easily. I wouldnt doubt a possible 9s with good *** driving. You got to remember that the 3 rotor does have good low end torque.

As far as street driven cars go, 11's for sure (unless you TRY to go slower), 10's likely, 9's possibly.

You can easily make over 500 rwhp on stock twin turbochargers, which should put you deep into the 11's.

Upgrade to a good single, good computer, good tuning, and all the parts, and you can go much faster.

Drag cars can be as fast as high 6's.

But remember, as nice an easy as those numbers sound, like always, it's a lot of work and a lot of money...

in factory form. The 20B Cosmo is quoted by Mazda at a 14.1 second 1/4-mile

Testing here in Oz has found they can be good for a mid-to-high 13 if its a good one.

Some journo's took my 95 model for a comparison test against a Toyota Soarer in late 2002 & got a 13.5 from it.

I was wrapped...............

The "Type-S" version Cosmo weighed in at 1570kg. Unsure what that is in old fashioned pounds.

Check out the web site link to learn more about the original 20B Cosmo if you are interested in learning its roots.
