3" intercooler piping good enough?

I would like to know if 3" piping from the intercooler to the throttle body is good enough for say...800whp?? I might end up with a throttle body that is 90mm which is considerably bigger than 3" piping and I would only like to do things once.

My body from PR is like "definitely do 4in."...but he also has a GT5591R adn a 110mm throttle body on his 3 rotor and I don't so I know he usually recommends things that are a little over the top for what I am seeking.

I will do 3" from turbo to intercooler, just wondering about the other half. The turbo is a BW S400.

i'd say you're fine, after all, there are a lot of 800rwhp capable turbos with 3" exits.

Yeah I know but why have a 90mm throttle body if you are going to snake the air through a 70mm ID pipe the whole way?

Is there a benefit?
