20bturbo fd roadracer

I'm almost finished my 93 rx7 racecar 20b conversion. I've had this car since 1997 and converted it that year into a full out roadrace car. With last years engine , a 13b with a gt35r, 481 hp at 21 psi on c16, it was already one of the fastest cars. I've worked on the car since October and it should be running by mid June. The only cars that were faster were gt1 v8's and $100,000 porsche turbos. Here is a list of the specs:

b series 20b , street port, studded and doweled.by forcefed in langley
gt42r turbo with my own manifold.
60mm tial wategate
exedy clutch
3 pass rad
4inch all stainless exhaust front to back
dss heavy duty axles
2 fluidyne oil coolers
4 inch thick intercooler ( ebay $127 !!!)
microtech
850,1600cc injectors
2 bosch porsche turbo external pumps
my own subframe.

The car has a full cage , pettit flares, 12.5rr, 10 fr wheels
yoko race slicks 330 rr, 280 fr.
moved engine back 9 inches , (and firewall).
modified tranny and used front opening for shifter.

If someone can tell me how to post pics i'll put some up .

oh man i gotta see this.
go to post reply
then "manage attatchments"
click "browse"
then find the folder that the pictures are stored in (probably something like 'kodak easyshare')
double click on the picture
then click upload.

sorry if this isn't what you needed but i do love 20b's and got a little antsy.

you could always use imageshack.us, that's what i always use (no need for an account)

In Canada it fits into a class called gtm, similar to spm and runs with scca gt2 and gt1 cars. I've run as such since 2003, before that I was able to sneak it into production class. We hope to run it at the Edmonton Champcar support race in july and the first race will be june 23 at Mission Raceway. It will be at Forcefed for ecu instal in about 10 days.

I'll try to post pics again when I can find more time.

exciting news. We'll be racing the car at this years Champ car support race in Edmonton on july 20-22, 2007. Its a collection of 60 of the fastest gt cars in Western Canada and should be one of the best races of the year. There will be a lot of turbo Porsches, trans am cars, etc. The car is at forcfed now for the Microtech.
We'll be at Mission in july 7 , then the indy.

Raced and dynoed this weekend. Dyno figures were 540 hp at 13.5 psi, and 630 at 18 psi. I found out i basically need new slicks every weekend now. The car was undrivable in high boost and a handfull in low with the old slicks . Amazing difference in torque compared to the old 13b. special thanks to everyone at Forcefed for their 2 am banzai work weekend.

hey if anyone wants to do something like this i am selling EVERYTHING you need for 14k. the only thing missing the actual cradle. it was a project i had going out of an 89 T2, the only unfinished part of the project is the car itself and the tunning of the TEC3 ECU. you will get everything from the 2 external fuel pumps to the intercooler. the only thing is i live in japan ( i am american though) but shipping is included in the price and the price is negotiable

here are just a few pics of what it looks like. its no were near what the person that started this thread is doing but its also not for full race.

The car made a constant 630 whp@ 40-45 intake air temps. When the car made 20 degree air temps it produced 660whp. The 4 inch exhaust was restricted to a 3 inch at the back due to a worry of noise . We are expecting a substantial gain with this muffler tossed!!!
