Bump steer causes the degree of toe to cange as a result of the wheel traveling through its range of motion. It is not very fun to deal with on the track.

I will give you a serious reply, spend the bucks and get petit's subframe. I use my fd for race only (both on the track and orr events in Nevada). While the ORR is not the most technical of courses, I am doing it at speeds in excess of 160 and the car feels rock solid. I took out the power steering to slow the response down and feel it was one of the best moves I have done.

the suspension geometry is something that should be done right. if you dont do it right the car wont handle right. you should either get the petit subframe or move the motor back or something else that keeps the right geometry

It's not just the engine cradle, you'll need to trade in your spindles.

You'll still have bump steer with the Petit cradle and spindles unless they changed something in the last 3 months. Tito has installed a few in San Antonio and confirmed that there is bump steer, but it's not real bad.
