20b fits behind the wheel axle without cutting the firewall. i'm using FD tranny.

 

Very nice. Where does the shifter end up in that configuration? I have the 2-rotor Cosmo engine in my RX8 and had the same problem with having to move the intake manifold forward as the stock Renesis mounting position is essentially under the firewall.

 

shifter's still coming out at the stock position--interior is still all stock. without the custom adapter, it'd be sticking out at about 10" behind the original rx8 shifter position.
