20B rotor housing question

I saw a picture of a 20B and I was wondering why the first rotor housing is spaced further from the second housing, than the second is from the third. Do any of you guys know? Thanks.

Look at the ports...
How do you get both a primary and a secondary intake port into a 3 rotor?

The back half of the engine is basically a 13B...two primary ports on the inside, with the secondary ports on the outside.

So how do you do it for the front rotor?

So, front to back, the intake ports are...
Front rotor secondary
Front rotor primary
Center rotor secondary
Center rotor primary
Rear rotor primary
Rear rotor secondary

Also, due to the long(er) e-shaft, Mazda designed a center (support bearing) to keep e-shaft flex to a minimum.
