So get this.. I walk into the lab to check on what type of blower I need to find data for. (mech engineering student). I walk around the lab to find a tape measure and in the back of the room I find a 20b made with 13b housings sitting. The water pump is hooked up to an electric motor and they have some flow meters inline. WTF? a 20b peripheral port sitting on the bench being a flow testing bitch? What's wrong with this picture?
What's wrong is that it's not installed in something, tearing the street up.
How was the 20B constructed? Was it one of those Jeff Bruce E shaft specials with two normal intermediate plates? Or did it have genuine 20B side plates?

It is apparently for an aviation experiment for senior design (not this year unfortunately as I'm stuck on carbon nanotube design). They are testing the water flow through it and ultimately plan on turboing it to do vertical climb tests somehow. I was told it was made by sterling or something to that name for use in planes. I'm going to look into it more....
