I've got a friend dead set on getting a FD and throwing in a 20B. Anyone have any idea how much it costs to import those beasts?

 

I think they're in the neighborhood of around 3-4k from what I've read, check out The Parts Trader.

 

um, the 20B engine is usually from 2500-7500 depending on if it is a jspec or new.

But the engine is the cheap part. The total conversion is usually around 30-40K if you have someone else do it..

Look to spend an easy 15k on the conversion with mods doing the work yourself.

I have been pricing parts and pieces and trying to decide what I am going to do when I drop one in a T2 (I fit the T2's better and i like saving 10k).

However the girlfriend is bugging me about getting a house cause she thinks my apartment is too small. And I cant do major auto repairs in the apt parking lot
