20B doesnt fit under TII Hood??
hey guys,
just about got the 20b project buttoned up, but i went to put the hood back on yesterday, and the upper intake hits the hood. looks like about 3/4 of an inch too high. did anyone else have this problem, or do i just need to look at my mounts?
im already only a hair above the power steering rack, so I dunno how much lower i could drop the engine.
If this is a common thing, what did everyone do to modify the hood...just cut the bracing off it?
thanks,
Pat

i just cut out the inner shell of the hood below the hood scoop. it actually creates a pretty cool effect because when you get down and look up the hood scoop, you can see the top of the manifold where it says 3 ROTOR
