20B convertible engine mount

real quick question
the vert FC's in US all come N/A, i've been told that if i am doing a TII conversion if i got the motor (long block), drivetrain .... it will be a direct drop in
but the question is the vert' engine mount is different than the coupe
so if i drop a 20b in a vert, with TII drivetrain, can i still use that FC3S.org 20b mount or do i need custom

I've search and read most of the thread
and i dont think i have money to buy http://www.efini.net/rx7s4sale.htm ...

figured do my own 20b will be cheaper

mounts are the same. fc3s.org or k2rd.com has mounts that make the 20b a 'drop in swap'

Possibly, but it will not be nearly as nice. That is an excellent price for that car. FYI you are looking at around $10K for a 220rwhp 20B conversion, not including the price of the car. I have over $30K in mine, and it doesn't even run yet.

That site is pretty realistic, and $20,000 USD would get you a decent conversion. However, if you look at that RXX-7, you will see a very nice convertible base car, a nice body kit, and other fine details. Add this to the fact that a leading speed shop performed the work and tuned the engine, and you are going to be WAY over your $20K mark. Now whether or not you want your car to be that nice is another story.

No, it was on some other people's websites, but they went down when the freebie website hosts folded with the dot-com collapse. I am going to put some pictures on my own web site, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. When I get the site up, I will like it to my www icon. My ghetto Yahoo web site has some 3-rotor car pictures and articles:

A lot of the costs on my car were for suspension, roll cage work, safety items, etc. The problem with having a powerful engine is that you need to build the rest of the car to handle the power. This is the expensive part. I'm still looking at transmission options, but it looks like the damage is going to be $2,000-8,000 just for the transmission.
