Please give me some feedback on your car.

-Any problems with the 20B?
-Do you run any emmisions?
-Any major difference in the car's handling with the 20B in?
-How do you like it compared to a modded/ported 2 rotor(if you have driven a modded 2 rotor)?

with the oil metering pump hooked up, do you still run 2-cycle oil (3mm seals, 13B housing steetported) ?

well both, i'm gonna try using an rx8 airpump, they are cheap ($300 retail) and theoretically it wont die if you have it running for longer than 3 seconds. i dont have room to fit a belt driven airpump

There are also some good write-ups in this 20B forum if you spend some time to sift through the threads. It's a small forum, so it doesn't take very long.

 

can a 20B FD be used as a daily driver. Not the worst case driving 1 hr to work in trafic but rather a nice 15 min drive to work.

 

It all depends on how you build the car. The stock 20B-REW is from a luxury car, so it obviously behaves well in traffic. Pettit's street-ported setup is also somewhat street friendly from what I hear. However, much like any other engine, if you slap on a huge turbo, port the heck out of the engine, and tune it for drag racing, then you may have some problems on the street.

 

mine is perfectly happy driving to work, the only thing is the fuel consumption (12-16mpg)

off topic question: Anyone run apex N1 dual exhaust on their 20B?

 

I have two N1 mufflers (not "Dual N1") on mine, but I haven't fired up the engine yet to see how they work.
