It looks like a rubber hose to me. Check with Fragola though, they have black covered stainless hoses.

Otherwise, if you were really ambitious, you could could find an anodizing company to do the hoses.

Wow, amazing car. Though, how long really could a 20B last running enough boost to make 1000rwhp? How much boost and at what power level do you actually keep the car at on the street and beat up on at the track?

the car made 820whp on a street port with a 80mm turbo @ 25psi.. now it has a very aggressive bridge port with a 88mm turbo it should make 1000whp around the same boost level.. 25-27 psi. i run the car @ 17 psi most of the time..

Half or Full Bridge? Always thought about making my 20B a half-bridge, but I haven't really seen anybody do it.

Wheels?

What wheels are those? It looks like you're running the OEM brake cylinder and ABS - or ? Did you upgrade the rotors or calipers? Beautiful build...

your build is an inspiration to the rest of us..

i recently sourced a 20B for my FD as well..

and am looking into the different ways to put the engine into my car

i'm wondering if you could you could go into more details on your sub frame setup?

i'm looking to keep my A/C as well just like you have..

how is the car with no power steering? especially with the extra weight over the front end...

thanks!

Reading this has got me really excited about my swap. The engine should be in the car this weekend.

Idk if this is too personal of a question....but what the hell do you guys do for a living to be able to afford to do projects like this and still buy the essential to live (food, shelter, etc.)? =D Lol........but seriously I'm curious...

For me, I can't afford to pay someone to build my project. I've always been handy and had enough confidence in my abilities to fab things. Financially I had to take to long route. If you know how to fabricate and are patient, you would be surprised what you can get done. I've personally been back and forward with my own 20b swap. I just past the 3yr mark. For me, most of that time has been spent on planning my moves. It's gonna pay off real soon.

Saw your car two weeks ago over at 2fast when I was having some stainless brake lines installed......looks gorgeous, wish I could have heard it fired up!

Just found this thread by chance and recognized the car, glad to see you post here a bit, and you also goto the OAC. Did you make it to the event yesterday? I was there early but left before most people got there, so I didn't see your car. I know I had seen it previously with the CCW's on it, but when I saw it at 2fast it has the advans on, which look badass BTW.
