13B To Ford T-5 Adapter Plate, will it fit a 20b?
This is a quote from Kennedy Engineering's website:
KEP # 9000 Adapter kit fits most manual shift '74+ Mazda Rotary bellhousings to the Borg-Warner T-5 transmission (from the Ford Mustang GT '85+). The Mazda flywheel, clutch, starter and throwout bearing are retained. A Ford disc must be used. The T-5 transmission that is normally slanted 18º must now be mounted vertical.
Kit includes adapter plate, bolts, pilot bearing and instructions.
I am putting a WC T-5 (the same as mentioned above) into my '88 Xr4ti, and I'm trying to figure out if this adapter plate will fit the 20B or if I'm going to have to find some other way of transfering power.
Thanks.

it'll work with the 20b.....g-force transmission is selling a complete rebuilt T5 with dog gears and different ratios for your application....they say it'll handle about 600hp in a 3300lbs car....g-force knows what gear ratios work best on a turbo rotary because they have alot of experience with Flaco racing and the other rotary racers that are using there trannys....i'm gonna try a g-force t5 on my 20b rx7,i'll let u know how it workout...
