Are you kidding me

Ok. So i get my gas tank back on, start the car let it run. Put it in to reverse and it goes in with a little grind. Im like wtf. I go to put it into first and it feels like the clutch pedal drops. Whe letting off just a hair the car goes to lunge. Push the pedal back in get out of gear then try to go back in and it wont budge. No grinding nothing. Try reverse and it starts to grind like a $2 club ***** and won't go in gear. Try first gear with the clutch pedal in all the way and the car starts to slowly move (turtle race. I could have seriously been beaten). WTF is going on? Thanks for the help.

I would try bleeding you clutch first, but you might have a bad slave cylinder or master cylinder.

Same as your brakes, pump the pedal, then release the bleeder, which is on top of the slave cylinder on driver's side at back of engine, just follow the clutch line.....

ok...drivers side of the engine bay...you will see a small rectangular resivour with a black circular cap on it. this is where you add clutch fluid...first check the level...if low...add dot 3 brake fluid...then...to bleed it...we are gonna have to look down between the engine and transmission on the drivers side....you should have a cylidrical looking metal thing down between there bolted to the very front of your transmission...it will have a bleeder valve mounted to the top of it...to bleed....you are goin to most likely need two people...one to push the pedal down when the bleeder screw is loosend...and while the pedal is still to the floor...tighten the screw then let up on the pedal...keep repeating this until a good stream of hydraulic fluid comes out when you press the pedal down...

after all this is done...you should notice that your clutch pedal is more stiff than b4...this is a good sign...

to bleed the clutch system you start with the master cylinder. first off trace from the top of the bell housing (thats where the slave cylinder is) and trace back up the firewall over to behind the clutch pedal. the master cylinder is mounted on the firewall under the hood and direclty behind the clutch. you first need two people. have one person in the car and one under the hood. the person inside pushes the clutch pedal to the floor and holds it there, while the other person get a line lock wrench or open ended wrench or adjustable and breaks the bleeder valve open. ( its right beside the hose that comes in to the master cylinder). once its broken open fluid will squirt. once its stops squirting close it back tight and once tight the person inside lets off the pedal. you continue to do this untill you get a solid stream of fluid. if there is air in the system it wont work, so basicallly you are smashing the air out little by little, this may take some time. once you get all the air out at that point you tighten it down and move to the slave cylinder that is mounted on top of the bell housing. it also has a bleeder valve. you do the same process, smash the pedal to the floor, hold it there. break the bleeder valve open let all the air out, and tighten it back up, repeat this over and over and over until there is not any air in the system, and you should have pressure with the pedal now if not you may have a leak in the slave or master clyinder. if that is the case dont waste time rebuilding it get a new part from victoria british it will save alot of headache. oh and watch the fluid level keep it FULL. hope this helps if you need any thing else i willing to help you out i had the same problem with mine.

yeah. everytime i'm in a parts store I try to find one. I guess I will just need to place and order for it. I think the problem is solved for now. I kinda ran out of time and had to leave for work. The clutch pedal feels pretty stiff. I will have to play with it a little when I get up tomorrow. Then we will see if all problems with my tank are taken care of. THanks for the help guys.
