I might have an alternator from a 85 12A, I think they are the same When my motor comes in, if its on there its going to be sold...

no is not the same 13b alternator pulls 60 amps.

Get a 2nd gen alternator out of a 86-88. They bolt right up and run higher amperage. I got one off a T2 and it also has internal cooling fan, which is supposed to be better.
