WTB GSL-SE oilpan, who can help?
I'm preparing my car for a TII swap Most parts are easily availbale overhere in Europe, but some are a bit more difficult. After ordering a lightwheight flywheel from Australia, I thought I had most parts there.
Now I found out a oil pan will take at least 6 weeks to be delivered here... Since GSL-SE's were never officially imported to Europe, finding a used pan is near impossible. It can be ordered from the dealer, but has to be ordered from Japan (no US-parts are stocked in the European Mazda HQ's), hence th long waiting period.
Who can help me faster, and possible cheaper
I'll order one tomorrow should nobody be able to help me, but I just wanted to try here first. Anybody who has a spare GSL-SE pan?
Thanks,
Bart

I saw a GSL-SE in a wrecking yard in London once. Back in the 80's I was in the same situation and used to take the pan off, heat it up with a torch and work it into shape with a hammer and dollies. (This was pans from 13b's from Japan and I don't remember specifically if any were TII.)

I just ordered it from the dealer. If I order it from either RB/Mazdatrix/680RWHP I'll be paying twice the price: part+shipping+tax... Anyway, I'll just work on the other bits right now. I wonder if it's easy enough to bolt the pan on with the engine installed?
Can anyone show me a pic of a 12A front cover drilled and tapped to take a oil return from the turbo, BTW? And what size (metric) should I use?
