Talking WOW! Where the first gens go to die.

Somewhere in california...my brother in law's buddy has a serious first gen collection.

These pics are just the ones at his house.

You should see his shop. First gen parts stacked to the rafters. :o

Over 200,000 SA/FBs have died, so somewhere there is a big parking lot in the sky.

We need to round up some tow trucks and rescue these things, like the Rotary Humane Society.

There were about 360,000 SA/FBs sold in the USA from total production of 471,000. Its difficult to get an exact number as some Gen 2 were included in the 85 sales figures.

The best estimate is that in the US some 65-70% have died. In other countries the death rate is vastly different, for example 90% in Japan, 35% in Australia. I have heard that in New Zealand its less than 20% as they love old cars.

Man, most of those cars look to be in better shape than most of what's for sale in ontario!

Nice looking yard. Wonder if he just parts them one at a time or keeps them back for him self.

When you are talking about RX-7s dying, are talking about engines or cars? I bet the number triples if you talk about the engines.
