There were about 360,000 SA/FBs sold in the USA from total production of 471,000. Its difficult to get an exact number as some Gen 2 were included in the 85 sales figures.
The best estimate is that in the US some 65-70% have died. In other countries the death rate is vastly different, for example 90% in Japan, 35% in Australia. I have heard that in New Zealand its less than 20% as they love old cars.

theres a guy in puyallup, its his shop, but outside of the shop theres just tons of FC's and FB's and a few miatas... its absurd... most r pretty junky, i've heard he doesn't like to get rid of his parts...
