I was a little skeptical about seeing those shift ***** go for $10... They're usually about $120... IF you can find em.

I'd like to verify the thread pitch of the FB shift **** and what'll interchange with it.

EDIT: I offered the guy a buck for the part number. Let's see what happens.

And then just post the darn part number up on the forum.

Can we order JDM or European RX-7 parts here in the US?

I highly doubt it. I'm sure the PN is something else in america, or it doesn't exist. You'd prolly have to go to the far east forum and ask one of those guys. You might even be able to get one of them to stop by the Mazda dealership and get the PN for you, for free.

Not terribly worried about a buck. That's even if he bites, which I doubt.

I said, "Offer is for a PICTURE of a BOX with a PART NUMBER but NO PART."

Sounds kinda assholish to me.

i personally got a shift **** that is hollow inside, and slid it over the shifter, forgetting all about the threads. it sits real low, and looks great. and there you go. cheap short shifter.

together with the custom leather shift boot with yellow stitching it looks awesome.

i wish my camera had good batteries so i could post but its not. pics to come soon

Thread pitch changed with the S5 models. The S4's will fit though.

And yeah, the auction is pretty lame, I would at least want the box. You could call the dealer for the part #.
