worth it or not.. or will it work ?

ok i was thinking maybe if i removed the spare tire well and just welded a piece of sheet metal there and move the gas tank forward i could have dual exuast... is it worth it? i dont mind doing the work at all... just through some opinions so i dont go messing my newer car up hehe. i could always test it on my old one to cuz i really dont care about it
well i like things cemetrical kinda
so as cool as single looks with the right exuast i think that dual looks better. but other then that there wouldnt be any gains in power would there ?
i wouldnt think there would be a noticable one anyway

well, i'm sure it can be done ... just about anything can. just don't expect it to be simple. the tank's shape, inlet and possibly the mounting straps may be a bitch and a half to sort out. it's your car though, and as long as you're one with the fact that there probably won't be a power gain (my guess is there will actually be a slight decrease
) however, i'm like mike-p-28 on this, just don't see a real point. but, again, i realize it's your ride and therefore i respect your decision.

hehe well i do agree on there being no point....
its just i havent seen it done. curiousity killed the cat tho
you really think thered be a decrease ?.
anyway chances are i wont even attempt it till a year or 2 from now anyway. so ill stick with 1 exuast till i have the time money and a working car heh

I think you are just wasting time and money hacking up the car... Better off putting time/money in something that is gonna do some good... BTW: Dual exhaust has been done before on a 1st gen, I remember seeing a few cars like that on a aussie site
yeah i figured i spelt it wrong... didnt care enough to fix it tho heh
yeah i thought about it and looked under my car its probibly more work then its worth so ill just put money somewhere else
