first off how light are they? unless they are under 15lbs for 15" then it isnt light weight.. secondly 4 spokes has never looked good on a car ever... and my other question is about the shipping? would it be from japan because that is alot of shipping.

Just for Relative Comparison: Retail $1680.00 for the set. GB price would be more than 25% off of this.
I will weigh one tomorrow for ya. The shipping would only be from California to wherever you are. We are a US importer of Work Wheels, so everything is based on shipping from our location.
As for the 4 spokes I beg to differ, I have seen only one car thus far that looked really really good with teh Equip 01 4 spokes, he has an AE86 Corolla Coupe and they look stellar.
There is the mesh Equip 03 that would be more suitable for the First gen.
Due to the rare 4x110 PCD of the First Gen I thought I'd list these wheels for you as an option. Problem: They are costly but do come in crazy widths and offsets.
Shipping in continental US would be from $60-80.00.
Better pics of this wheel:

Burning Oil-Grinding 3rd
The wheels in my pic above are 13 X 7.5 and cost 1k new 10 years ago. So the price on this GB is not bad at all for new wheels.
To the Noob up above, 17 and 18 are a waste on a 1st gen, Unless you just really like the bling. They make the car feel like it does not have any power and really kills the car.
Are we the only ones in this GB? or are you goiing to set it up for the entire forum? What about Lugs for them? Extra center caps?
I would really like a set of the mesh but I am a bit tight with money and 1K would go a long way on suspension mods for my car.

Enkei NT03+M
On a related note, if you could get these Enkei NT03+M wheels in 17x7.5 or 17x7 with a 114.3 x 4 (gsl-se and fc) or 110 x 4 bolt pattern, I don't know if I could contain myself. I would hound everyone I know, I would relentlessly spam the forums until I had 4 other takers.
The offset would have to be 27 or 29 to work with our cars, I believe.

Thank you sir for commenting on the price. I would never take advantage nor waste mine nor your time here with this thread. I wasn't sure if this was in the price range of first genners for wheels, but then again I figured the 4x110 guys probably have a bitch of a time finding wheels and especially in good offets.
The wheels picture above are 4x114.3, those are anywhere from 8 to 8.5" wide in a low negative offset. I can't recall exactly which ones those are. They were for a corolla.
Now for the part where you guys can educate me being that I have not done a custom fitment on a SA22 or FB. I do know the 4x110 use lower offsets than the 4x114.3. What this means, you get MORE LIP.
Soo, with stock/possibly rolled fenders, what is a good staggered fitment for the 4x110 and 4x114.3. I need width and offset for both the front and rear.
i.e. 4x110 = as seen on tirerack the Kosei K1 is recommended in a 15x7.0 +17.
i.e. 4x114.3 = as seen on tirerack the Borbet is recommended in 16x7.0 +42.
Keep in mind that diameter is arbitrary. Only width and offset are relative to our fitment interests. From this I see a difference of 35mm in offset.
Because tirerack uses conservative fitments I can only assume that the lip can potentially be that much bigger on the 4x110 PCD. That's like 1.5" bigger lip. I think we can probably do that fitment but an inch wider in the rear as well. Probably 7's and 8's in a +17. But you guys will have to tell me what's the lowest offset, relative to what width you can run on both boltpatterns. From that I can tell you a good wheel and tire fitment along with the expected lip depths.
Now I've sent an email to Work Japan to confirm they can produce the 4x110 PCD, i know the 4x114.3 is doable as that's what we've been bringing in.
Look forward to getting some advice on fitments from you guys. Any pictures would be great, any guys who have widebodied and can't find a good affordable wheel, then this would be the answer to your prayers.

As for the GB, we've been offerring these wheels to the FC and FD guys for many years now, not too mention Volk Racing and several other Japanese wheels.
I'll open this GB up to everyone. That's not a problem at all. Just want to see if there's anyone interested right now. Once again, I've sent an email to JApan to make sure the 110 can be made, 114.3 is no problem.
I'll start working on more first gen products and might just grab one. We have a REnesis Full Swap at the office and are debating whether to sell the whole thing or put it in our own.
You can check out our website here:

We are a distributor for Enkei Racing Series wheels, NT03 falls in that realm. Unfortunately we cannot get either of these PCD's. It's not made.

Yeah, I figured the volks and gram lights would be available. The Gram Lights are probably the most in the 1st genner's price range, and are a very attractive wheel. Another wheel that you might consider opening up to 1st genners is the 5zigen FN01R-C. I noticed these wheels on your website. Those wheels are already available with a huge variety of sizes and offsets, so I'm sure the wierd *** requirements of the 1st gen could be met.
As far as offsets go, I believe you are correct. The gsl-se suspension is slightly wider than the one that came with the other 1st gens. There's a thread here on the forum where it's discussed in detail. Here's a summary - for 7 inch wheels:
12-20mm for the 12a
27-38mm for the 13b
I'm not sure exactly how accurate that is. I gather it depends on how much you want to push it, rolled fender lips, suspension adjustments (camber) etc. Here's the thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...=gsl-se+offset
You may find that people here are caught up with "bbs" style and those ugly centerlines, I don't know. I'm hoping there's a group buy for wheels, but I'd like to see what wheels could be had, and what people are willing to buy, before I commit.
Those Enkei NT03's are just the best looking wheels I think I've ever seen. I could probably fit those on with a spacer, if I really wanted.

Ya that's just what the rep told me.
So Work got back to me. They can do the 110 PCD but there is a minimum requirement and it retails for another $44.00/wheel. Then obviously you get your discount off of that.
So once I get info on exactly how many wheels I will begin a GB on this dealio and see if we can get it together. I'll do it really cheap. I'm afraid we will need to do between 5 and 10 sets of wheels. I believe it's 20units per disk. There's two disks.
Thanks,
Rishie
