I am trying to figure out how this wiring is supposed to go back together. I have looked through both the Haynes manual and the FSM for the year.

I cant seem to find what plugs are in the loom. The two connectors are:

The temp sensor in the back of the water pump. Two wires, male connector with female leads.

And the richer solenoid on the carb. Two wires, female connector with male leads

I have the richer solenoid wiring figured out.

Now i just need to figure out the wiring for the temp sensor... Is the plug located in the same section of loom as the alternator or the same section as the acv?

It's in the same loom as the ACV. It's the bundle that comes from the passenger side firewall.

There is a bunching of wires from the ACV, a bunching that connects to the carb as well as the alternator, and a bunching that connects the solenoids for the ratsnest...

I think it belongs to the bunch for the alternator, is that correct?

For a 1985, on page B2 of the wiring diagram (85RX7(50)Wiring_Diagrams.pdf on foxed.ca), it's connector is B17. It shows the wire traces back to the E.G.I & Emissions Control Unit at pin "C". The wires for the EGI unit run through the firewall on the passenger side.

The believe the furthest connector in the the dizzy/alternator bungle is the alt 2 pin connector.
