Wire subwoofer to stock stereo

I was wondering where to take the R and L + and - rear speaker signals from. My amp has the ability to take speaker level inputs so i was just going to splice into the stock rear speakers.

I was thinking of doing this before the stock amps. I dont have a joystick so i was thinking of taping into the rear lines at the little pigtail that is in the center console...

Where would you take the signal from and does anyone have wiring pinouts or whatnot to figure out what is left and right and pos or neg?

Use the AUX out put if your deck has it!!!!!!! (it is far superior)

As for using line inputs. just tap into the + and -. Unless u plan on only running a single sub.

The way i usually do it is just listen... and the bass should sound punchier one way then the other. (or the sub should fire outwards.)

Or.....the battery trick......but that should be used after the amps.........

that is exactly how the subwoofer in my car was set up when i bought it, but there was no amp so it must have been killing the system

You can do it that way. Your only using it as a signal source. Your amp will do the rest. Easier then getting a line level converter.
