will this wheel setup work?

looking to get new wheels and new tires. on tirerack they have a set of 4x110 and they recommend using a 205/50-15. the rims are 15x7. will there be any rubbing of the tire or will this work fine. i know the stock tires are 185/70-13. my rear end is stock. any help would be great--thanx

This setup should be fine. I ran it on my '84 for years. The offset is key. I don't remember what it is for a non GSL-SE, but the Tire Rack can probably tell you.

Ive had 205 50 15's rub on my car. All depends on what kind of springs your running and the offset of the wheel.

If you have doubts, use 195/50 x 15 tires. I use them on the front of my car and 205/50 x 15 on the rear. I have no rub on the springs nor the fender; although, as camocarl stated, offset and springs make a difference. I'm using Eibach springs.
