Will a Nikki feed a 13B

I was wondering if a Nikki from a 12a would feed a atockport or streetport 13B? What would need to be modified on the Nikki to make it flow enough?

I nabbed a Nikki that was on a 13B. The engine was waterlogged, so I never saw or heard it run. One thing about the Nikki manifold is that it has channels that connect the primaries to the secondaires. M Nikki happened to be sitting on a fully seperate runner Hitachi style 13B manifold. The top of the manifold was redrilled to the Nikki bolt pattern. I took all that 12A stuff off and put an Hitachi on it, and it worked fine (I had to move the studs back to their original holes).

I guess the Nikki flows better when it has channels under it, according to peejay. Personally, I don't really know.

I'm glad the PO didn't hack up this 13B manifold. It's going on my freshly rebuilt R5 13B. Oh, and the Nikki pattern is going to come in handy when I try an Edelbrock experiment.

It will run, but getting it to flow enough would be tough. RB sizes a Holley 600 for a 13B if that tells you anything. My work has yielded a 470CFM Nikki, and I'm lookin for more. But gettin 600 outta it is a tall order.

coldy13 has the nikki on his 12a and that thing is putting out at least 300hp at the flywheel. the car that was using it before him was putting out around 500hp. you just have to know how to mod it.

well, I have a Nikki from a 12a on my 13b 4 port, but I also have a Sterling Carb on order if that tells ya anything. I just doesn't seem to have nearly the power I should. Even though I do have mech secondaries already.

BTW- Sterling, I can't freakin wait to install that carb!!
