will a Fc speedo cable fit on a Fb?

Mazdatrix and victoria british dont have anymore of the 84-85 speedo cables.


Would a 2nd gen speedo cable fit onto a 12a tranny?

I had to do this once. The excess slack can just be tucked into the engine bay without any issues - maybe add a cable tie or something.
