Been there... its $1,400 for the kit. I believe they said they would ship but last I checked, It was not worth the shipping cost.
Ok so its been a while, but I was talking with my buddy about this. He can get it and reproduce it for us, but the problem is shipping. Basically it will cost 2-3x the cost of manufacturing them just to ship them.
He is in kobe. He didn't give me an exact shipping quote but he was very adamant that it was not going to be worthwhile to ship it. Ill get in touch with him and see if he can give me some numbers for the shipping cost.

I've done a lot of importing of car parts from Japan (mostly JDM Honda stuff) and can second that a body kit would be cost prohibitive to import. Even if the kit cost NOTHING, the cost of shipping would make any sane person balk. Japan Post uses airlines to ship their EMS packages over and the size limitations prevent shipping things like wings, front lips, bumpers, engines, etc.I had to leave a beautiful Mugen front lip in Japan because it would have cost me $450 to get it shipped to me.
The only cost-effective way to get something like a body kit over here would be to buy several and have them shipped on a container.
I am comletely new here and have no idea where to post this so i´ll post it here. I found a really nice widebody kit for the FD RX7 and I need to know who makes it and where I can get it. This is the kit:

While that is a nice FD (Third Gen), welcome to the forum, have a read through the FAQs and all that jazz. Edit: on second look I actually don't like that third gen at all.
On another note, you would probably have better luck sourcing a third gen body kit in the third gen section (but maybe not who knows)
I am involved in a long process, wherein there is a distributor in Australia and myself here in the US, looking into importing Group C IMSA widebody kit replicas from Australia to the USA. This won't be happening for a while yet since the replicas still need to be fabricated and tested, then pre-orders and deposits made, final products assembled, shipping from AUS to USA, inspection when arrived, re-packaging and shipment from me to the buyer. It'll be a long drawn-out process, but probably the only way to effectively get a Group C kit in the US.
